I call these my "pilot pictures" these pictures were my gateway into falling in love with photography. They are memories made during my last trip to Nigeria...
Recommendation Report Prepared for: Dr. Bonnie Lenore Kyburz, ENGL 308 Technical Writing Prepared by: Mattilyn Moon-Eaton, Emily Moody, Preston Grand Pre, Godsfavour Odadeji Abstract In this UI/UX Project, the restaurant chosen was Thai Pavilion, located in downtown DeKalb, IL. Throughout this project the group looked specifically for appearance and usability changes that would make the restaurant more appealing and user-friendly. Looking at the appearance, there were many different aspects we decided to change such as lighting, decoration, flooring, wall color, and seating, and in terms of usability, there was not much to change other than adding a hostess stand. Overall, the majority of the changes relied on making the restaurant more appealing and user friendly to the average customer. We wanted to incorporate learnability. Godsfavour Opadeji Scaredy Cat. Andy Blubaugh Reflection. The specific scene that got me was when he was attacked. It got me angry because I didn’t think he did anything to them. He was just a guy trying to make everything straight and look the way they should. But what was odd and surprised me was he has a generalized fear towards African Americans even though he knew his attackers weren’t all African Americans. I felt pity for him, but I felt like his generalized fear on African Americans wasn’t necessary. What I am still curious about is what his view would have been if an African American had helped him while he was been attacked because I still don’t see the reason why he would stereotype all African Americans.
Here's the thing- intros don't have to be long. In fact, we prefer them to be quite quick. They also don't have to be difficult, but they do have to exist. They prepare the reader and provide context for the content he or she is about to read. Leaving Nigeria was difficult mainly because of my friends. I was moving to another continent and I asked myself "Do you have any evidence of the memories of the good times you had with your friends in Nigeria?" Sadly, I had none and I hoped I could go one more time to see my friends, make new memories with them, and also keep the memories I make. This jump-started my long time interest in photography. So my blog posts are gonna be on PHOTOGRAPHY.
I can see why these pictures are so meaningful. The people are apparently dear to you, their colorful clothing, the bright skies ... yep!
